Welcome to Croaker's Spot

Born from the vibrant heart of Harlem's jazz scene and the soul of Richmond's Jackson Ward, Croaker's Spot carries on Mr. Croaker's legacy of southern hospitality, big city sophistication, and unforgettable soul food. What began as an after-hours gathering place for musicians and artists has become a beloved destination for those craving good food, good people, and good vibes. Today, we proudly serve up the same generous helpings of down-home comfort and Harlem flair that made the original Croaker's "the spot" to be.

Eggleston's Fried Fish Boat

I stopped by today for take out. I was greeted by a server named Dynasty S. She was short with me from the start. I ignored it and placed my order. I didn't agree with a pricing on my receipt and she was no help trying to explain it. Luckily, a kind manager came over and explained. Regardless how I was treated, I made sure to tip Dynasty far above the 20%. Crocker Spot has incredible food and we all have bad days. Peace
